'Aiea has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Wednesday. They will square off against the Kapolei Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m.
Last Friday, 'Aiea took a serious blow against Wai'anae, falling 42-13. 'Aiea was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.
Meanwhile, after only 19 points in their last matchup, Kapolei made sure to put some points up on the board against Waipahu on Friday. Kapolei walked away with a 55-47 victory over Waipahu.
'Aiea bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.2 points per game. As for Kapolei, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
'Aiea might still be hurting after the 44-19 loss they got from Kapolei in their previous matchup back in January. Can 'Aiea avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
