The Northwestern Wildcats can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. They breezed by Iroquois at home to the tune of 56-11. The victory was nothing new for Northwestern as they're now sitting on three straight.
Northwestern found their leader in underclassman Makayla Presser-Palmer, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Presser-Palmer has scored at least a third of Northwestern's points. Another player making a difference was Brooke Miller, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Northwestern is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Iroquois, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Northwestern will be playing in front of their home fans against North East at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North East is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Iroquois, they will face off against Titusville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Titusville is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
