The Holy Redeemer Royals stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat MMI Preparatory School 55-27 on the road. The win was nothing new for Holy Redeemer as they're now sitting on eight straight.
When it comes to explaining why MMI Preparatory School lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bria Kringe. Despite the final result, she scored 23 points. That was a full 85.2% of MMI Preparatory School's points, marking the 14th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Holy Redeemer pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for MMI Preparatory School, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Redeemer will take on Wyoming Area at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Wyoming Area will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 523rd, while Holy Redeemer is ranked 119th). MMI Preparatory School won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lincoln Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Lincoln Leadership Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
