White Pine has gone 7-1 against Founders Classical Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. White Pine came up short against GV Christian on Friday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Guardians: they've now lost five in a row.

White Pine was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Founders Classical Academy came up short against Lincoln County on Thursday and fell 2-0.

While Founders Classical Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21.

White Pine's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 14-3. As for Founders Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

White Pine skirted past Founders Classical Academy 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
