After four games on the road, Santa Rosa is heading back home. They will take on the Ukiah Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, it was close, but Santa Rosa sidestepped Healdsburg for a 3-2 win. The victory was just what Santa Rosa needed coming off of a 4-0 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Ukiah scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Elsie Allen a 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Ukiah, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.
Their offense was hitting Elsie Allen from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal.
Santa Rosa's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Ukiah, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5-4 record this season.
Santa Rosa might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Ukiah in their previous meeting back in January. Will Santa Rosa have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other soccer content.
