ThunderRidge had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 4-9 to make it seven. They lost 19-4 to the Castle View Sabercats. ThunderRidge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie Haiar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
As for Castle View, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for them this season.
On Castle View's side, they let Ashlynn Canepa and Sophia Holland run wild. Canepa got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double, while Holland got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI Holland has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Dill, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.
