Benedictine lost against Buckeye back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bengals took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bucks. The Bengals' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Benedictine's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Buckeye, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Benedictine will welcome Solon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Buckeye, they will be playing at home against Clear Fork at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
