Softball Recap: Sequoyah's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Sequoyah came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Commerce Tigers 12-2. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Sequoyah's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Commerce, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Sequoyah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Adair on the 12th. As for Commerce, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-6 victory against Fairland on the 13th.
