The St. Paul Swordsmen will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Rancho Verde Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. on December 28th. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
St. Paul's and Don Lugo's contest on Tuesday was close at halftime, but St. Paul turned on the heat in the second half with 34 points. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 57-30 stomp they got on the road against Don Lugo.
Meanwhile, Rancho Verde waltzed into their contest Wednesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down Don Lugo 54-35.
The victory got St. Paul back to even at 7-7. As for Rancho Verde, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4.
