Meanwhile, even though Norfolk scored an imposing 57 points on Wednesday, Benson still came out on top. Benson took down Norfolk 71-57.
Gretna East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Benson, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Gretna East, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-37 loss to Benson in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Gretna East avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
