Northview has gone 8-2 against Baker recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chiefs will face off against the Gators at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Baker will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Northview extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday. The Chiefs were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over T.R. Miller. Considering the Chiefs have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Daviona Randolph was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Riley Brooks was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Northview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .405. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as T.R. Miller only posted a batting average of .250.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Baker had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past Central 10-1 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Gators have posted against the Jaguars since March 9, 2023.
Lacey McCranie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nevaeh Nava, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Prytula, who went 1-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.
Baker's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Northview, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Northview has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Baker struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Northview's way against Baker in their previous matchup on April 6th, as Northview made off with a 12-0 win. Do the Chiefs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Gators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
