The Fremont Pathfinders had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Los Angeles with a 18-14 win on Friday. The win was just what Fremont needed coming off of a 35-3 loss in their prior contest.
Los Angeles' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Semaj Williams, who rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeshua Alcantara, who rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.
Fremont's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Los Angeles, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Fremont will face off against Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Los Angeles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
