Union had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Gate City Blue Devils. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 5-0 win on May 1st.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Gate City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Looking ahead, Union will venture away from home to challenge John Battle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gate City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
