Rolling Hills Prep is 8-2 against Vistamar since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Huskies will be playing at home against the Vikings at 2:15 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.
Rolling Hills Prep barely beat Lennox Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies blew past the Panthers 18-4 on Friday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Alex Hernandez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Hernandez was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Rolling Hills Prep's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-10 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Rolling Hills Prep got a massive performance out of Samuel Lopez, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Matthew Moyer was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.
Rolling Hills Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
Vistamar never got on the board in their matchup last Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Animo Venice on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 11-1 win.
Vistamar's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Rolling Hills Prep, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
Everything went Rolling Hills Prep's way against Vistamar in their previous matchup back in March, as Rolling Hills Prep made off with an 11-3 victory. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
