Moore is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Andrea Lopez, who scored eight points along with five assists and two steals.
Beverly Hills' loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-10. As for Leuzinger, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.
Beverly Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against the Apaches at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1015th, while the Normans are ranked 459th). As for Leuzinger, they will head out on the road to challenge the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Hawthorne has struggled recently with nine losses in a row, while the Olympians will arrive with eight straight victories.
