The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 62-29 loss at the hands of Lower Moreland. While losing is never fun, Hatboro-Horsham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while Lower Moreland is ranked 162nd).
Dani Brusha continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lower Moreland, scoring 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Santora, who scored six points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.
Hatboro-Horsham has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Lower Moreland, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Hatboro-Horsham will be playing at home against Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lower Moreland, they will head out on the road to face off against Plymouth Whitemarsh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plymouth Whitemarsh is on a four-game streak of home wins, Lower Moreland a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
