Sadly, the Tunkhannock Tigers are still looking for their first win of the season after eight matches. They were dealt a 43-7 loss at the hands of Berwick on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tunkhannock has scored all season.
Berwick was led to victory by Gabby Starr and RaeAnna Andreas. Starr dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Andreas scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Alyssa Lewis was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Tunkhannock's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.0 points per game. As for Berwick, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-16.
Tunkhannock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Berwick also has no future games currently scheduled.
