South Suburban recap November 19, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in South Suburban this week, Rosemount beat Roseville 35-28. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Irish.
Lakeville South took down Bishop McGuinness 29-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brenon Larson-Gulsvig threw for 234 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
The Cougars' Larson-Gulsvig and Nick Toon led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Larson-Gulsvig has thrown for 1,204 yards this season, while Toon, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 40 catches for 505 yards. Jamiah Newell from Lakeville North leads the league in rushing with 1,015 yards.
Rosemount led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on the Raiders.
