They really took it to Spring Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 34-0 victory. The Pirate might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cade Hoshino, who threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns. Hoshino is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Christian Rhodes did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 103 receiving yards.

Another reason for the win was Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Simote Tupou was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up five himself. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.5 total tackles per game.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sierra Vista). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Del Sol 36-0. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Mountain Lions with their most commanding win of the season.
Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon better keep an eye on Caleb Green. He was instrumental in Sierra Vista's win, rushing for 178 yards while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Mafua Matthews-Mafua got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
