Maxwell won the last time they faced Sandhills Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mavericks.

Kristyn Cheek paced Maxwell's offense, picking up seven kills. Cheek got some help from Emory Christensen and her nine assists. Cheek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Maxwell has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Sandhills Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Maxwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Anselmo-Merna on the 27th. As for Sandhills Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Twin Loup on the 27th.
