The Cumberland Valley Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 57-26 defeat at the hands of Susquehanna Township.
Despite the defeat, Cumberland Valley had strong showings from Sienna Manns, who scored 9 points, and Greta Dwyer, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Susquehanna Township to victory, but perhaps none more so than Schuyler Coles, who scored 19 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Coles has scored at least 25% of Susquehanna Township's points. Ava London was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Cumberland Valley bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.0 points per game. As for Susquehanna Township, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Cumberland Valley will head out on the road to face off against Parkland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Susquehanna Township, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Bishop McDevitt at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
