The Don Lugo Conquistadores's six-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They blew past Baldwin Park, posting a 71-19 victory at home. The win was just what Don Lugo needed coming off of a 52-29 defeat in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Sarah Magadan, who scored 24 points along with nine steals. Issabela Medina was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds.
Don Lugo's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Baldwin Park, they bumped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road.
Don Lugo will be playing at home against Chaffey at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaffey is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Baldwin Park will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Montclair at 6:30 p.m. on January 11th. Montclair presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Baldwin Park in California (Montclair is ranked 311th, while Baldwin Park is ranked 1312th).
