Perhaps the best among them was Evelyn Quinonez, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 steals. The contest was Quinonez's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alani Kyles, who scored 21 points along with seven steals.
Torres has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Lakeview Charter, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Torres will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fairfax at 1:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
