The Owatonna Huskies entered their tilt with the Faribault Falcons with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Owatonna secured a 43-38 W over Faribault on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Owatonna also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Owatonna's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carsyn Brady led the charge by scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Fisher, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
The victory got Owatonna back to even at 8-8. As for Faribault, they bumped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home.
Owatonna will take on Mayo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mayo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Owatonna likes a good challenge. As for Faribault, they will head out on the road to square off against Northfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
