Berks Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sydney Corado led the charge by scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Corado has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Langdon, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
The win got Berks Catholic back to even at 8-8. As for Reading, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
Berks Catholic will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Governor Mifflin is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. Reading does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
