The Rocklin Thunder will venture away from home to square off against the Jesuit Marauders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Rocklin is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Woodcreek a 5-0 shutout.

Andrew Hancock tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Rocklin is 4-1-1 when Hancock allows three or fewer hits, but 10-13 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Max Griffith, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ryan Lujan, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jesuit, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Pitman on Wednesday. Considering the Marauders have won nine games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Sammy Kane made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
In other pitching news, Dillon Pratt looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
Back at the plate, Luke Garcia was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Glover, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Rocklin pushed their record up to 14-14-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Jesuit, their record now sits at 18-11.
Rocklin got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April against Jesuit by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunder since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
