For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Cook and Crisp County have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Cook Hornets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Crisp County Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Wednesday.

Cook's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Crisp County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Cook will have a chance to go back-to-back against Crisp County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
