The Monessen Greyhounds will square off against the Westinghouse Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Monessen came up short against Chartiers-Houston and fell 47-35.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from MyAsia Majors, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Avanti Stitch, who scored five points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Westinghouse's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-21 loss at the hands of Taylor Allderdice. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Westinghouse in their matchups with Taylor Allderdice: they've now lost three in a row.
Monessen's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Westinghouse, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
