Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Cobb). They put the hurt on the Wheeler Wildcats with a sharp 19-0 victory on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

North Cobb's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wheeler, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Cobb will venture away from home to face off against Walton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheeler, they will head out to take on Adairsville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
