Basketball Recap: Greater Beckley Christian Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Montcalm came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Greater Beckley Christian, but Leah Adkins wouldn't allow it. Everything went the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders' way against the Montcalm Generals on Thursday as the Greater Beckley Christian Crusaders made off with a 53-31 win thanks in part to Adkins, who posted 26 points along with six boards and three steals. Her evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Aislinn Pelfrey, who earned five points in addition to 23 rebounds and six steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Greater Beckley Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Montcalm, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
