After losing to the Saratoga Falcons the last time they met, the Milpitas Trojans decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Milpitas walked away with a 32-20 win over Saratoga on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Milpitas.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Jovalin Victorino and
Sharleen Monteagudo, who each put up nine points.
Khloe Cruz held things down on the boards with 13 rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Milpitas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Saratoga, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.
Milpitas will be playing at home against Wilcox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilcox will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 928th, while Milpitas is ranked 455th). As for Saratoga, they will head out on the road to challenge Gunn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gunn will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
