The Sonora Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Summerville Bears at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
While Sonora fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. Everything went their way against Riverbank on Friday as Sonora made off with a 7-0 win. Addison Kraft was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.
Sonora's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Summerville, they've got a clean slate. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (14-9-2), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.
