The Liberty Hurricanes's three-game losing streak  dating back to last season came to an end  on Friday. They breezed by Whitehall on the road  to the tune of  54-27. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  38-14.
 Liberty got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Tula Sobrinski out in front who  scored ten points.  Abby Thompson was another key contributor,  scoring nine points.
 The  victory  got Liberty back to even at 1-1. As for Whitehall, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
 Liberty will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant Valley at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Whitehall will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on William Allen at 7:00  p.m.  on December 22nd.
