The Webb Schools Gauls extended their postseason success on Thursday against the Environmental Charter White Tigers. They beat the White Tigers by the very same score they won with last week: 52-6. The Webb Schools has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.
Xajani Badkar was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 23 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicole Rabadi, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
The Webb Schools' victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-10. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.5 points. As for Environmental Charter, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
The Webb Schools will take on Elsinore at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Badkar and Ashirah Williams. Environmental Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
