Farrell is 9-1 against Reynolds since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Farrell Steelers will look to defend their home court against the Reynolds Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Reynolds took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Farrell, who comes in off a win.
Farrell can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match last Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Commodore Perry 59-16 at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Farrell as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Reynolds had to suffer through a rough 48-16 loss at the hands of Mercer. While losing is never fun, Reynolds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 621st, while Mercer is ranked 289th).
Farrell's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Reynolds, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Farrell against Reynolds when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 70-36 win. Does Farrell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Reynolds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
