The Norristown Eagles lost against the Perkiomen Valley Vikings back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Norristown had to suffer through a rough 78-29 loss at the hands of Perkiomen Valley. Norristown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-15.
Quinn Boettinger continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Perkiomen Valley, scoring 30 points. Grace Galbavy was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Norristown bumped their record down to 3-5 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.5 points per game. As for Perkiomen Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norristown will take on Boyertown at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Perkiomen Valley is on the road again on Friday and play against Owen J. Roberts at 6:45 p.m. on January 5th.
