Collin Bernard made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Pittsfield let Kaden Ferguson and Ryan Harris run wild. Ferguson got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Harris went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Harris is becoming a predictor of Pittsfield's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 8-9 when he doesn't). Hayden Gratton was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases and one run.

Jonas Brown looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.
At the plate, Talon Thompson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Long, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Pittsfield got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Routt Catholic by a conclusive 18-10 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saukees since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
