Bloomingdale is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Steinbrenner is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bulls will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bloomingdale 3.8, Steinbrenner 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
While Bloomingdale's victory against Plant wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulls sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Panthers on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Bulls in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Natalie Cable made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Marley Boucher, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Paige Sanchez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Meanwhile, Steinbrenner was able to grind out a solid win over Wharton on Thursday, taking the game 4-1.
Lilly Patton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, Jenna Fortenberry was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Bergen, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Bloomingdale's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Steinbrenner, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
Steinbrenner's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bloomingdale has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. It's a different story for Steinbrenner, though, as they've only averaged .359. Will they be able to contain Bloomingdale's hitters?
Bloomingdale took their win against Steinbrenner when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1 score. Will the Bulls repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
