The Methacton Warriors's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They breezed by Pottstown on the road to the tune of 54-24. That 30 point margin sets a new team best for Methacton this season.
Abby Arnold was her usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Olivia Organtini, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Methacton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-15 record this season. As for Pottstown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Methacton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Rams at 6:45 p.m. on January 30th. Spring-Ford will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Pottstown, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Indians at 6:00 p.m.
