After having lost a blowout in their previous game against King's Ridge Christian, St. Francis was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-15 back in March.

St. Francis' win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-19. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

St. Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against The Weber School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they will head out to face off against King's Ridge Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
