The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North in their matchups with Leuzinger: they've now lost three in a row.
Leuzinger's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madison Watts, who scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds. The game was Watts' eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Leah Sarabia, who scored 8 points along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds.
North now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Leuzinger, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.
North will head out on the road to face off against Mater Dei at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leuzinger, they will look to defend their home court on December 4th against Sage Hill at 3:00 p.m.
