Kearney dropped down to 24-11 on Saturday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 8-0 to the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bearcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Lincoln Southwest, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 28-3. The result was nothing new for the Silver Hawks, who have now won 21 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

For Lincoln Southwest's part, the team relied heavily on Taylor Siefken, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Siefken has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Brenly Noerrlinger was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

As of now, neither Kearney nor Lincoln Southwest have any future games scheduled.
