It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Crest Lancers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 39-38 win over Southeast. The win made it back-to-back wins for Crest.
Rogan Weir continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Golden, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Crest pushed their record up to 8-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Crest will head out on the road to face off against the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Yates Center comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
