Kiski Area is 0-5 against Penn-Trafford since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Kiski Area Cavaliers will be staying on the road to face off against the Penn-Trafford Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
Last Friday, Kiski Area was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to Mars.
Meanwhile, Penn-Trafford had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.8 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They blew past Albert Gallatin 49-24. The result was nothing new for Penn-Trafford, who have now won five games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Olivia Pepple was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Visco, who scored nine points.
Kiski Area's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Penn-Trafford, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Kiski Area came up short against Penn-Trafford when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 46-38. Can Kiski Area avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
