Highland won the last time they faced Hannibal and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Pirates. Considering the Cougars have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Highland has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hannibal, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Highland will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pirates: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
