Neumann Regional Academy blew past the Rangers 57-37. Neumann Regional Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neumann Regional Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than GiGi Parlante, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Parlante hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for 14 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lizzie Weller, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.
Neumann Regional Academy's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Northwest Area, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
Neumann Regional Academy has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Bucks at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Northwest Area, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Hawkeyes at 2:15 p.m. on February 3rd. Hanover Area is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
