Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neligh-Oakdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than jayce gadeken, who scored 14 points along with seven steals. Hailey Horstmann was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
When it comes to explaining why Boyd County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Paige Drueke. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Drueke scored a full 42.9% of Boyd County's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Boyd County will be home for the holidays to greet Elgin/Pope John at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Elgin/Pope John will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
