Herculaneum's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Bayless Bronchos as they made off with a 12-6 win. The Black Cats haven't had any issues with the Bronchos recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Madelyn Brown made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Brown was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Herculaneum got a massive performance out of Blake Parker, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Cheyenne Wood, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Herculaneum kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.

Herculaneum's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Bayless, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Herculaneum wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Windsor on the 30th. As for Bayless, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-4 loss against Valley Park on the 30th.
