The Foothill Falcons fell victim to the Carondelet Cougars's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a rough 5-0 defeat at the hands of the Cougars. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Foothill in their matchups with Carondelet: they've now lost eight in a row.
Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-6. As for Carondelet, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-3-4.
Foothill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carondelet, they will head out on the road to square off against Monte Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Carondelet is coming into the matchup with three straight victories on the road, meaning Monte Vista will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
