On Thursday, First Presbyterian Day got the win against Stratford Academy by a conclusive 10-3. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Gracyn Fuller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addison Arnold, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and one stolen base. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jessica Jones, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.
Georgia Military College couldn't beat Brentwood on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Bulldogs came up short against the War Eagles, falling 14-6.
Haley Knight was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Allie Deason also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Georgia Military College has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for First Presbyterian Day, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.
First Presbyterian Day took their win against Georgia Military College in their previous matchup on Monday by a conclusive 12-2 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
